I was studying bat skeletons and whatnot (because I love bats. a lot.)
And I was starting to get curious...what would bat wings look like on a human? I've seen bat anthros done before on deviantart...very well. But I don't see them often, and there's a good reason for that! How the hell does a bat anthro wear clothes??? XD So I started drawing them...and then I just decided to draw the whole figure. I didn't bother filling in the whole human skeleton cuz I'm lazy  but I wanted to kind of see what the arm would look like hooked into the shoulder socket on a skeletal level. Anyways, up at the top is some sketches of a vampire bat face. I always have trouble drawing the noses bats are like FREAKS OF NATURE with the noses! lol anyways enjoy comments are welcome. I'll scrap this later I just wanted to submit a little something to keep my gallery going while I'm working on my bigger WIPs. |

Then there are those weird "magical clothes" I see all the time where the shirt looks as if it's mysteriously passing through the membrane at their sides. It's completely bizarre.
It's really really hard to pull off. I think that's maybe why I like it so much, because it's not just like a neko-person where you can just slap on ears and a tail. It takes planning! lol
plus bats are just extremely cute and I love them ^^
but either way, I agree with your points.
